Seven graduating seniors attended the Teachers of Promise Institute held on May 2 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Columbia. The Teachers of Promise Institute brings together pre-service students, who are beginning their teaching careers in the fall, with veteran teachers who will serve as mentors during this transition. This day-long event offered an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions about the teaching profession. Highlights included a keynote address from 2025 Teacher of the Year, Kat Locke-Jones, as well as panel sessions led by veteran educators.
