鈥淪tories That Shape Us: A Book Gifting Celebration鈥 was held on May 3 at 3:00pm to support the Children’s Literature Collection at Stevenson鈥檚 Zaffre Library. Alumni, students, and faculty came together in support of this valuable resource that contributes to the professional knowledge of future educators. The event featured a special reading by Baltimore author Willow Night.

Attendees were invited to donate a high-quality children book to inspire early childhood, elementary, and middle school learners. Each donated book includes a special nameplate recognizing the donor.

This event was proudly sponsored by the Stevenson School of Education, the Student Government Association, Teachers of Tomorrow, and the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society. Dr. Beth Kobett, Dean of the School of Education, wishes to thank Hannah Hamill and Stephanie Henry for sparking this idea, helping it grow, and continuing the momentum. She also thanks KDP for sponsoring Willow Night and Teachers of Tomorrow for providing the fun bookmark activity.
